For the past twenty years, Steve has been assisting organisations to deliver outcomes that meet strategic goals in the health, ICT and infrastructure sectors. He is currently involved with Panurgem on SA Water ’s $1.8 billion Adelaide Desalination Project as Manager of Project Controls and Reporting. Credentials: Steve has a PhD in Biochemistry and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Adelaide. He is also a Registered Project Director. trevor Alex fAIPM CPPD Trevor is a Certified Practicing Project Director and P30 practitioner with more than 15 years’ experience in private and government sectors. He is currently a Principal with UXC Consulting. Trevor has developed project management capability for individuals and organisations, conducted maturity reviews and health checks, and managed large and complex programs. He is also a RegPM and PMO Assessor for the AIPM. Credentials: Trevor holds a Master of Commerce, Graduate Cer tificate in Management and an Advanced Diploma of Project Management. Prior to becoming a National Director, Trevor was Victoria’s Chapter President. He is also a Fellow of the AIPM and the Australian Institute of Management, and was recently appointed secretar y of the Asia Pacific Federation of Project Management. Movers&shakers THe LATeST APPOINTMeNTS AND MOveS wITHIN THe AIPM NATIONAl dIRECTORS Michael ratcliffe MAIPM, VIC Chapter President Michael is a highly experienced consultant and executive with a background in infrastructure, property and urban development. He has over 30 years of local and international experience in senior management roles. Michael’s management and governance experience has been with a range of commercial and government organisations. He has recently worked as a project director on large infrastructure and urban projects in the Middle East and Asia. Michael is also involved in ICT projects. Credentials: Michael has a long history of involvement with the project management profession. He was a member of the Western Australian Project Management Association from the early 1990s and the AIPM. From 2002 he has been Treasurer and an executive member of the Victorian Chapter. Peter fowler MAIPM CPPD, QLD Chapter President Peter runs a consulting practice that provides a wide range of project management ser vices. He has more than 10 years ’ experience delivering training programs, competency assessments and consulting ser vices to improve organisational project management performance. He has also worked in the field for more than 20 years. A member of the AIPM since 2001, Peter has been the Queensland and National Chief Judge for the Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA) for two consecutive years. Credentials: Peter holds an Advanced Diploma in Project Management , a Cer tificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (TAA), and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. In addition to being President of the Queensland Chapter, Peter is Chair of AIPM’s Assessor Panel and Chair of AIPM’s Mirror Committee for IPMA. He is also a Certified Practicing Project Director and an AIPM Assessor. sami Abou-Hamdan MAIPM CPPM, sA Chapter President Sami brings over 18 years ’ experience in project management to the AIPM. He has worked in State and Local governments as well as the private sector. Projects include water, transport, civil and structural infrastructure, here and overseas. His career began in project engineering with a construction contractor in Singapore. He has specialised in project and contract management; business development; strategic planning; engineering and superintending; budget, scheduling and risk management; and stakeholder relations. Credentials: Sami holds a Masters of of Pvts Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil). He has been a CPPM since 2004 and joined the AIPM SA Chapter Council in 2010.
