It is a source of pride to have your peers acknowledge a job well done. e ACT PMAA was a great evening with a keynote from Chris Jenkins, Senior Vice President of ales Australia. Chris is also the Chairman of the International Centre for Complex Project Management Board and spoke about managing multicultural tea ms, a topic that was well received. Congratulations to Graham Watt who recently received AIPM Fellow status; the Membership grade of Fellow (FAIPM) is an honour awarded for exceptional contribution to AIPM and the profession. 2013 has been a very productive year for the NSW Chapter, with active YEPP and WIPM SIGs, and the establishment of a Mentoring Program. NSW was also the first Chapter to establish regional branches to support our members outside the metropolitan area. On 19 November we will hear from Dr Erin Evans, a lecturer from the Executive Masters of Complex Project Management at QUT. Erin is a change management and strategic thinking expert. We congratulate our Queensland PMA A winners, especially those who had success at the National Conference in Perth. Mark Patch QLD Chapter President As the year draws to a close we naturally review the success of our efforts. In the past year we have secured new sponsors to support the activities and growth of the AIPM. We need to congratulate Jay Brewster- O'Brien on being awarded the Young Project Manager of the Year and we thank Ter ritory Proud for their support and sponsorship. To encourage and support women in project management we have focused on delivering three events this year to highlight their expertise and experience. A critical exercise in reviewing our efforts is to acknowledge the efforts of all members of the Northern Ter ritory Chapter Council. I pay tribute to Heather-Anne Clark as our Chapter Co- ordinator and I thank the AIPM National Office team for their professionalism and support. I wish you all the best for a safe festive season and I look for ward to continuing to work with you to further develop the growth of excellence in project management into 2014.
