The PMO Accreditation allows us to provide a baseline of our maturity and to demonstrate that the project processes and procedures we have adopted deliver successful projects. It also helps us to identify the value we are adding to our organisation and provides another way of measuring it. It provides the MHS PMO with credibility and respect, both within our organisation and also in the engagement with our customers. e major bene t is the engagement of the team in driving continuous improvement. Accreditation has given the PMO community an impetus to continually review and workshop best practices in the project management and business analysis for ums, as well as drive our Agile Scrum adoption. How do you intend to implement your ongoing professional development? Each of our communities of practice within the MHS PMO is actively planning strategies for the evolution of ongoing professional development. is will be headed by a practice lead in each area, will form part of the overall PMO KPI business objectives, and will also be part of personal KPI objectives for each individual. is continuous improvement approach will ensure that the PMO strives to adopt best practices, as well as continually seek new and innovative methods and strategies to achieve better-quality product and ser vice delivery to our customers. How did PMO Accreditation a ect communication? It has helped raise the pro le of the MHS PMO inter nally across our business. Key external stakeholders, including our customers, are very receptive to a business function that looks beyond just the delivery of projects, and has a strong focus on the quality aspect of the governance and delivery of projects that add value. PMO Accreditation Q&A with Medibank Health Solutions On Tuesday 13 November 2012, Medibank Health Solutions (MHS) received PMO Accreditation from AIPM. The award was presented by AIPM NSW Chapter President Chris Mansfield to MHS PMO Manager David O'Leary and General Manager of Infor mation Technology Brett Winn.
